We recognize that visitors to our site may be concerned about the information they provide to us, and how we treat that information. This Privacy Policy addresses those concerns. Our Policy:
JBI International takes your privacy seriously. We will not share your e-mail address with any third parties. Nor will we ever sell or rent any personal information that you provide to us in any form. With respect to any donations (whether made on-line, by mail or in person), JBI International may share only financial donor postal mailing address lists with other non-profits for a one-time non-commercial use by the other non-profit. These lists do not contain any other personally identifiable information or any financial information about a donor. If you are a financial donor to JBI International, you may submit an “opt-out” request that we withhold your mailing information from any list exchanges with other non-profits, in one of three ways:

1. You can e-mail us at brudich@jbilibrary.org. In the subject field, type "Do Not Exchange" and provide us your name, e-mail or postal address depending on how you made your contribution to our organization.

Security:
All financial and donation information provided to JBI International through our site is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven industry-wide security coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of JBI International. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of such information.

For users who are not comfortable making donations on-line, contributions may also be made by calling 1-800-433-1531 or by mail to our main office address listed above, attention Beth Rudich.

Information Collected and Use of That Information:
From time to time, including when you register to receive JBI’s services, order from JBI’s online library catalog, or make a contribution, we may ask you to provide certain information by which you may be identified, such as your JBI Patron ID, name, title, and address (collectively "Postal Information"), as well as your telephone number, e-mail address, credit card number, and similar information by which or with which you might be identified. This information combined with your Postal Information will be referred to in this document as "Personal Information." You may decline to provide any Personal Information, but please be aware that you may thereby be unable to register for services or make a contribution through JBI’s website.

JBI International would like to be able to use your Personal Information in the following ways:
a. For the purpose for which it was provided: If you give us information for a specific purpose, we will use it for that purpose. For example, if you request information about JBI on the website, JBI will use your name and address to send you that information.

b. To inform you about JBI information, developments, events, services, opportunities, and JBI fundraising efforts: JBI would like to be able to contact you and send you information about its activities, products, services, events, and fundraising efforts in which JBI hopes you might be interested.

Nonpersonal Information:
JBI may use and disclose to others information about you and your use of JBI's website by which you are not identified, such as the type of browser you use, the files you request, the URL and geographic location from which you request information, the URL that you came from and go to and similar information, and information compiled in the form of statistical or aggregated information about visitors generally to the website.

Use of Cookies:
